WHEN an international artist is scheduled to hold an event in the country, the first question that comes to many fans’ minds is if they have the budget for it.
But fans of Korean-American singer Eric Nam need not to worry about the money they would have to spend for tickets.
Nam will be the latest international artist who will have a fan meeting in the Philippines this August, and this event will be totally free.
The multifaceted singer-songwriter and host announced on Sunday that the event would take place on August 5 at the Activity Center of Market! Market! in Taguig.
“Open to the public and freeeeeeeee RT (retweet) if ya coming through!” Nam tweeted.
#Manila #Philippines i’ll see ya on Aug 5 at @MarketMarketBGC for a FREE FAN MEETING! Open to the public and freeeeeeeee RT if ya coming through! ❤️

“Excited to see you guys!” he said in another tweet, along with a Spotify link to his new single House on a Hill.
Nam’s last visit in the country was in November 2022 for the Asian leg of his There And Back Again world tour.
How to get tickets
While the event is free of charge, Nam’s fans, officially known as Nam Nation, will have to get admission tickets if they want the chance to see the singer up close.
Here are the mechanics that attendees should follow:
- Fans should present their Zing Plus Membership and a receipt worth P1,000 from any Market! Market! Merchant dated July 30 to August 5 to get one ticket for the fan meet. Receipts from Metro Department and Supermarket, Themed Bazaars, and bills payment are exceptions.
They are also encouraged to download the Zing App and use the referral code ZINGMARKET to get tickets. - A maximum of two admission tickets can be redeemed for receipts worth more than P2,001. These will be available from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Concierge Booth from July 30 to August 4, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Activity Center on the day of the event.
The fan meet tickets must be presented at the Activity Center entrance, which will open at 2 p.m. on August 5. Seats will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The mall reminded attendees that defaced, tampered, and photocopied tickets will not be honored, and that tickets are not for resale and are non-refundable.
House on a Hill
The fan meeting will be held a month prior to Nam’s House on a Hill world tour, which will kick off in North America in September. He will also perform in Latin America, Europe, Australia, Australia, and New Zealand.
There is no confirmation yet for a Manila leg, but the tour will also include Southeast Asia next year.
