RSG Philippines has asked for donations to be given to the family of former professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player and RSG Slate Philippines development league coach Ivan “Navi” Gacho, who passed away on Monday at age 24.

“In these trying times, we are humbly asking for any donations you are able to give to Coach Navi’s family to give him the farewell he deserves,” RSG Philippines, the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines affiliate of RSG Ignite said in a Facebook post.

“Every little bit counts and will make a meaningful difference during this difficult time,” it added.

For those who want to donate, bank details were included in the post.

Gacho died of arrhythmia, or an irregular heartbeat, according to his brother, Isidro Erickson.

In an earlier post, RSG announced Gacho’s death.

“You have brought a light that shone brightly in our lives and hearts. We will be forever grateful for all the time spent together and thank you for the wonderful memories you left with us,” it said.

Ivan’s stellar career

Gacho first joined the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional scene in MPL Season 4. He served as a substitute player for the Sterling Global Dragons during the earlier seasons of the MPL Philippines.

After playing, he eventually coached and joined RSG Ignite for the inaugural season of the Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) Philippines this year.

RSG Ignite has ended MDL Philippines in 5th to 6th place.
