Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque are getting married!

The 35-year-old Kapuso actress happily announced on social media her engagement to Roque in a series of photos she posted on Instagram.

Alonzo said Roque proposed to her on July 18, two days before the actor’s 33rd birthday.

The photos showed an overwhelmed Alonzo, who became emotional after Roque, who was seen in the photo kneeling down on one leg, held a box in front of her with an engagement ring.

Alonzo said that the sunset photo was taken at Las Casas where she was supposed “to take a shoot.”

“It was a balmy afternoon in Las Casas. I was there for a shoot, but little did I know that the next thing that Would happen would change our lives forever,” Alonzo said in her  caption.

“In the middle of the shoot, Mark Nicdao kept telling me to turn around because he wanted to shoot the back side of my dress, I found it a bit odd, but when I turned around, I found Dom kneeling with a box in his hand,” she added.

Alonzo, a veteran actress who has played many proposal scenes before, said the moment felt like “time stood still.”

“You see, I have done so many proposal scenes in my entire career, but nothing beats the real thing. I have been doing it all wrong! Hahaha, Dom said his speech, and it’s like time stood still. Everything went in slow motion,” she said in her caption.

“And I felt different emotions all at the same time-joy, excitement, love. I started bawling (swipe to see my ugly cry ), But I didn’t want that moment to end. I want this real thing to happen forever.. and right then there.. In front of the people we love… we decided on forever..” she ended.
