CROWD darlings Brgy. Ginebra won its last game of the PBA On Tour, but lost streak shooting guard Jeremiah Gray to an injury.
Gray sustained a dislocated knee while going for a layup after a steal with 22.5 seconds togo in the third quarter.
Videos of the play saw Gray running towards the basket with a defender closing in when he lost his footing, his knees making a painful twist.
Gray, holding on to his left knee, was screaming in pain as doctors and other medical staff attended to the injured guard.
He was brought out via stretcher and never went back to the game.
The Kings eventually won, 91-85 against the NLEX Road Warriors.
Ginebra head coach Tim Cone said that the doctors were able to correct the dislocated knee.
Gray, however, awaits further results if procedures should be done.
Presently, the doctors are evaluating the extent of the injury including the ligaments surrounding it.
So far there had been no decisions on surgery.
Gray finished with eight points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal.
