A motorcycle rider who trended on social media for his daredevil stunts and devil-may-care attitude while traversing the streets of Panabo City in Davao del Norte surrendered to authorities, claiming that he only did what was caught on video and pictures due to his love for racing.

The motorcycle race driver wannabe was identified as Fulgencio Desimilla, a resident of Brgy. Illang, Panabo City.

Videos posted by Facebook user Marlon Arab showed on his back while riding the motorcycle.

At times, when he sees someone taking photos or video, he joyfully stands up and acts like he is riding a horse.

His antics were no laughing matter to authorities as the LTO XI Panabo District took notice and conducted a manhunt.

Desimilla, upon realizing that he is being chased after the LTO, surrendered and said that he was ready to face the consequences of his actions.

LTO Panabo Head Elecia Cabunilas, said Desimilla’s acts should not be imitated as he warned motorists that there will be stiff penalties if they do so.

Cabunilas also said that Desimilla is facing multiple traffic violations.

This may result in the immediate revocation of his license.
