KAPAMILYA actress Andrea Brilliantes will be leading a new television drama, Senior High, with former child actors turned teen stars from ABS-CBN.

Brillantes will star in the upcoming series with fellow young actors Kyle Echarri, Juan Karlos Labajo, Xyriel Manabat, and Zaijian Jaranilla, according to an announcement from Dreamscape Entertainment.

“When the parents are away, the kids will definitely play! Who are you when no one is watching?” the production company wrote in a tweet.

The series will also feature Daniela Stranner, Miggy Jimenez, Gela Atayde, Tommy, Syvia Sanchez, Angel Aquino, Baron Geisler, and Mon Confiado.

Based on its trailer, the series will follow the characters as they navigate and resolve several issues, including involvement with illegal substances, alcoholism, insecurities, and sex among others.

The release date for the upcoming Kapamilya series is yet to be announced.

Kids no more

The main ensemble for Senior High is composed of former child actors.

Jaranilla and Brillantes first became known for their participation in the sketch comedy TV show Goin’ Bulilit in 2009 and 2010.

The latter later gained prominence for her titular role in Annaliza (2013) and for portraying Marga Bartolome in Kadenang Ginto (2018).

Jaranilla emerged to stardom for his iconic role in the religious-themed TV series May Bukas Pa, where he played an orphan named Santino.
