FOR the upcoming Feast of Sto. Niño, the Manila Police District (MPD) announced road closures and traffic rerouting on Sunday. 

In a Facebook post, the MPD said the following roads in the city will be closed starting 12:01 a.m. on January 20:

·       N. Zamora St. from Moriones St. to Chacon St.

·       Sta. Maria St. from Moriones St. to Morga St.

·       J. Nolasco St. from Morga St. to N. Zamora St.

·       Morga St. from J. Nolasco St. to Juan Luna St.

·       Ortega St. from Asuncion St. to Soliman St.

·       Lakandula St. from Asuncion St. to Ilaya St.

·       Ilaya St. from Lakandula St. to CM. Recto Avenue

·       Chacon St. from N. Zamora St. to Juan Luna St.

·       Soliman St. from Morga St. to N. Zamora/Ortega St.

People going from J. Nolasco to Tondo Church are advised to turn right on Moraga St., straight to Tuazon St. then to Wagas St. or left to Asuncion St. going to C.M. Recto to their destination. 

Meanwhile, all vehicles coming from Pritil using N. Zamora St. must turn left to Moriones street going to Juan Luna St. to their destination.
