This psychological thriller drama also bagged best cinematography, best screenplay, best production design, best editing, best musical score, and best sound awards on Tuesday, April 11.

Meanwhile, Romnick Sarmenta was hailed best actor and Elijah Canlas received the special jury prize for his impeccable performance in the film.

About Us But Not About Us narrates the story of a literature professor as he dialogues with his student. Through the conversation, he reveals some of his lies and secrets, including his connection to a disquieting suicide.
Aside from Summer MMFF recognitions, the film also won the best film critics picks award at the 2022 PÖFF Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia.
It was also shortlisted for the 2023 Fantasporto Film Festival in Portugal and the 2023 Mardi Gras Film Festival in Sydney.
About Us But Not About Us is available for viewing in nationwide cinemas until Tuesday, April 18.
