32 teams now complete for FIBA World Cup 2023

THE qualifiers are done, and the competition is set!

The FIBA World Cup stage is complete with 32 national teams from different countries and continents worldwide.

The Philippines, Japan and Indonesia will be the host countries for this 19th edition of the World Cup, and three countries will host the World Cup for the first time in history.

Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Georgia, Iran, Jordan, Mexico, Montenegro, Puerto Rico, Serbia, South Sudan, USA, Venezuela and Serbia are the last countries who qualifies and booked a ticket for the competition.

The FIBA World Cup is set on August 25 until September 10, 2023 when powerful countries will clash to become the world champions.

The best teams are exciting to watch this year, especially Team USA who were eliminated early in 2019. What moves will the USA do to bring the championship back to their country?

Fans worldwide will see outstanding performances from international players, and some NBA superstars also make sure that the competition for the trophy can be entertaining for basketball fans.

After the qualifiers, teams start training the players and ensuring they are ready for the world stage. On April 29 also, national teams will make a draw to know what group they belong to for the eliminations and the countries they will face for the trophy.

This draw will take place in Smart Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines, which is one of the host countries for the FIBA World Cup 2023.
