FROM making it to international headlines, Taylor Sheesh is now finding her way to the global stage.
Manila’s well-known impersonator of 12-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift shared on X (formerly Twitter) that she brought her own version of “The Eras Tour” to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
The drag star, whose real name is Mac Coronel, posted photos of her wearing a blue bandeau-style strapped top and a matching blue mini skirt. This was similar to Swift’s outfit during the “1989” set for her “The Eras Tour.”
“My first international gig! Naunahan pa kita @taylorswift13 makapunta sa Singapore,” she said.
Swift is set to visit Singapore in March 2024 for her headline-making world tour, after she performs in Japan in February. These two countries are her only stops in the Asian leg of “The Eras Tour.”
The drag queen quoted on X a post of a netizen who attended her show.
The X user shared a few photos of Taylor Sheesh where she was clad in a black asymmetrical bodysuit adorned with a sparkling-red serpent design. This was close to the pop star’s serpentine catsuit that she wore during her “Reputation” stage.
“Taylor Sheesh @heymacyou was the best part of the night!!!” the netizen said.
Taylor Sheesh replied and thanked all her fellow Swifties in Singapore.
“Y’all wild! Can’t wait to see you all next year for The Eras Tour!” she said.
The drag star previously told republicasia that she’s planning to mark Christmas by taking a rest and celebrating all her achievements this year.
2023 has been a jampacked year for Taylor Sheesh after she was known internationally for her own version of “The Eras Tour” in a shopping center in Quezon City, as Filipino Swifties clamored for a Manila leg of the hit concert.
Adding to her global popularity was a feature about her in the U.S. morning show “Good Morning America” in September.
Taylor Sheesh recently made a television appearance in “It’s Showtime” for its weeklong anniversary special “Magpasikat 2023.”
The drag queen also became the country’s newest endorser of makeup brand Maybelline New York.
In October, she posed for her first-ever billboard for an ointment brand.
Taylor Sheesh is doing back-to-back shows in the Philippines for her “The Eras Tour.” She is scheduled to perform in another mall in Quezon City and Malabon on November 24 for her “The Eras Tour.”
