THE short film of late singer-actress Choi Jin Ri, better known as Sulli, will be officially released this year.

Last September 6, Mystic Story dropped the official poster for the Persona:Sulli film, showing the actress seemingly looking down and wearing a red dress.

The production company revealed that it will be divided into two parts. First is the short story called 4 Clean Island directed by Hwang Soo-ah and Kim Jee-hye.

The movie depicts the character of “4” who dreams of immigrating to the world’s cleanest place through a weird immigration checkpoint, where people can only be allowed to cross after admitting their crimes.

The second part of the film is a feature-length documentary interview which is called Dear Jinri, after her real name. It contains Sulli’s daily thoughts and concerns, and where she expresses herself  as a 25-year-old K-pop Idol and actress.

It will air through the Documentary Showcase of the Wide Angle section at the 28th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
