THERE won’t be too much rain in most parts of the country today. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
An inter-tropical convergence zone, or belt of converging trade winds, is still affecting Mindanao and Palawan and could bring cloudy skies and rains, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration.
Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
It said there are cloud clusters near the Philippine area of responsibility east of the Visayas. The cloud clusters are moving toward the country and may bring rains in the Visayas and the Bicol region on Monday.
There is also a low pressure area almost 3,000 kilometers east of Mindanao that is expected to move closer to the country and may bring rains in early December. The state weather bureau will be keeping an eye on this as there remains the possibility that this could develop into a tropical storm.
Coastal waters
Extreme northern Luzon will have moderate coastal waters and moderate wind speed.
The rest of the country will have slight to moderate coastal waters and light to moderate wind.
Temperature check
The temperature in Metro Manila today will range from 32 to 25 degrees celsius, while for Tuguegarao it will be from 33 to 24 degrees celsius.
It will be chilly in some parts of the day in Baguio where the temperature will range from 24 to 18 degrees Celsius. The same goes for Tagaytay, where the range will be from 30 to 21 degrees celsius. In Legazpi, it will be from 32 to 25 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Cebu will be from 31 to 27 degrees Celsius, for Tacloban 31 to 26 degrees Celsius, and for Iloilo 32 to 27 degrees Celsius.
For Zamboanga, it will be from 31 to 25 degrees Celsius, for Cagayan de Oro 31 to 24 degrees Celsius, and for Davao City, 32 to 25 degrees Celsius.
Visayas forecast
