Power outages in NCR, Cavite and Laguna this weekend

POWER distributor Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) announced that parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna will experience power interruptions this weekend, June 15 to 16.

This is due to the scheduled maintenance activities.

According to the advise, there will be a relocation of certain primary facilities that will be along Gen. Luna Street in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City on June 15. Power interruptions may occur between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. may be felt in the following areas: Portion of Gen. Luna Street from P. Burgos Street to and including Fermina, Don Pedro, Escuela, Cayco, Mañalac, Enriquez and Pagulayan Streets.; 7-Eleven Store, Oppa Korean Restaurant and Elmar Bldg.

Likewise, there will be an installation and replacement of facilities, as well as line reconstruction and reconductoring works that will be done along Arnaldo Highway in Gen. Trias City, Cavite from June 15 to 16.

Meanwhile, those affected between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., on Saturday, May 15, and between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., Sunday, May 16 are: Portion of Gen. Trias Drive from near Alfamart – San Juan Gen Trias to Antero Soriano Highway including General Trias Homes Phase 1, Roman Compound, Saint Francis Subdivision, Royal Village, and Tejero Subdivision in Barangays Tejero and San Juan I & II in Gen. Trias City.

Also included are the portion of Antero Soriano Highway from near Tanza – Trece Martirez Road in Bgy. Daang Amaya 3, Tanza to Gen. Antonio Street including Barangays Santa Rosa I & II in Noveleta; Familyville Subdivision, Graceland Village 11, Hermeno Compound, Pabahay sa Santol – 1 & 1B Subdivisions, Promise Land Subdivision, Spring Green Village, Springtown Northgate 2 Subdivision, Springtown Northgate Subdivision Phases 1, 2 & 1-Annex, Springtown Villas North Gate Subdivision, Springtown Villas Phases 1 & 3, Tanza Country Homes, De Roman Subdivision and Saint Anthony Subdivision in Barangays Bucal, Daang Amaya I & III, Santol and Poblacion I – IV in Tanza; Lavanya Subds. Phases 1 – 3, Dreamhomes Subdivision, Heritage Village and Westwood Ville Subdivision in Barangays Bacao II and Tejero in Gen. Trias City.

On the other hand, those affected between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m., Sunday, May 16 are: portion of Advincula Ave. from Meralco – Lancaster substation to Arnaldo Highway in Bgy. Pasong Camachile 1; portion of Arnaldo Highway and Gen. Trias Drive from Advincula Ave. to Antero Soriano Highway including Sunterra Place Subd., Camachile Subd., Grand Riverside Subds. Phases 1, 2, 2-A & 2-B, Bellmont Hills Subd., Belvedere Towne 111 Subd., Castillon Homes Subd., Pamayanang Maliksi Subd. Phases 2, 4 & 5 and San Antonio Village in Bgys. Pasong Camachile 1, Pasong Kawayan 2, San Francisco, San Juan I & II and Sta. Clara in Gen. Trias City; it also includes portion of Gov. Ferrer Drive, Dulong Bayan and Gen. Antonio Sts. from near Pria Road to near Antero Soriano Highway including Birmingham Plains Subd. and Grand Catalina Subd. in Bgys. Poblacion and Bacao I & II in Gen. Trias City.

Likewise, Meralco announced that they will be replacing badly leaning poles and line reconductoring works along F. B. Harrison Street in Pasay City on June 16.

It will affect areas between between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and then between 3 p.m. and 3:30 pm are: portion of Roxas Blvd. from Manila Yacht Club to CCP Complex including Philippine Navy Headquarters and Department of Finance in Malate; harbor Square, Product Development & Design Center of the Phils. (PDDCP), Coconut Palace and one feed of Cultural Center of the Phils. (CCP), Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) and Sofitel Philippine Plaza in CCP Complex, Pasay City; and a portion of Pablo Ocampo Sr. St. (Vito Cruz) from Roxas Blvd. to F. B. Harrison St. including Hotel Jen in Pasay City.

Those affected between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are: a portion of F. B. Harrison Street from Pablo Ocampo Sr. Street (Vito Cruz) to and including Fortuna, Suerte, Porvenir, Progreso, Sinciego, Gotamco, Estrella, Maginhawa, Humilidad, Balagtas and Jockian Streets in Pasay City.

For a line reconstruction works along Abbey Road in Barangay Sauyo, Novaliches, Quezon City on June 16, affected between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. are a portion of Abbey St. from Don Julio Gregorio Street to Narra Street in Bgy. Sauyo.

Meralco will also be conducting preventive maintenance and testing works in Meralco – CIPP substation, Calamba, Laguna on June 16.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. are portion of Ridge Ave. including Meralco – CIPP substation and CIPP Deepwell #7 in Carmelray Industrial Park 2, Bgy. Punta.

There will also installation and replacement of poles, and line reconductoring works along Mamatid Road in Barangay Mamatid, Cabuyao City, Laguna on June 16.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. are the portion of Mamatid Road from near April’s Flower Shop to near Dali Everyday Grocery Store including Saint Joseph Village 3 and Oroville Subdivision in Barangay Mamatid.
