POWER distributor Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) said that there will be several power interruptions in Luzon spread over the weekend.
According to Meralco, the service interruptions is expected to occur in the following areas between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, and between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 19.
Meralco said this is due to the maintenance works inside the Meralco – Tayabas Substation: Portion of Tayabas – Lucban – Majayjay Provincial Road from Roma Rosa Subd. in Bgy. Mateuna, Tayabas, Quezon Province to Majayjay – Luisiana Road in Bgy. Bakia, Majayjay, Laguna including Sitio Don Elpidio, Dela Torre Subd., Doña Carmen Subd., Green Valley Subd., Sitio Isla Verde, Sitio Luad Loob, Tuazon Subd., St. Jude Tayabas Village, Grace Land Estates Subd.; Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan Restaurant and Nawawalang Paraiso Resort; Bgys. Camaysa, Dapdap, Ibas, Lalo, Mateuna and Opias in Tayabas,. Quezon Province; Botocan Intake & Dam; Bgys. Bakia, Burgos, Gagalot, Piit, Rizal and Taytay in Majayjay, Laguna.Barangays Bataan and Ilayang Owain in Sampaloc, Quezon Province
It also lists the whole town of Lucban, Quezon Province and the whole town of Luisiana, Laguna.
Likewise, Meralco noted that the said areas are expected to experience interruptions from 5:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. and between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
This is due to the NGCP preventive maintenance and testing works: Portion of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway from Meralco – Dasmariñas substation near The Villas Access Road to and including Don Gregorio Heights Subd., Cardinal Dasmaville Subd., Vine Village; Pala – Pala Road; Yakul Philippines, Robinsons Place Dasmariñas, Terraza Dasma, McDonalds, Euro-Med Laboratories Phil. Inc., E.V.Y Hardware, A.N.S. Ice Plant, Primewater Infrastructure Corp. Pump Station, Coca-Cola Dasmarinas Distribution Center, Hemotek Renal Center – Dasmarinas, HMICare Clinic & Diagnostic Center and Sydenham Laboratories Inc. in Brgys. Sampaloc 1 & 2 and San Agustin 1
It also covers portions of Governor’s Drive from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway to near Greenbreeze Village 2 including Denniella Executive Homes Subd., Kahaya Place Subd., Roseville Subd., Cityhomes Resortville Subd. Phases 1 – 5, Cityland Greenbreeze 1-B & 3 Subds., Roseville Subd. Phase 2, Valler Verde Dasmariñas Subd. Phases 1 & 3, Idesia Dasmariñas Subd., Solar Homes Subd. On the other hand, power interruptions are expected between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Sunday.
This is due to line reconstruction works along Pan-Philippine Highway: Portion of Pan-Philippine Highway (Maharlika Highway) from near Welcome (Laguna) Batangas Arch to near Aidanny’s Lomi De Lipa in Brgy. Sta. Anastacia.
