It will be recalled that Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. had directed the Task Force El Nino to make preparations preparations for the possible onset of the La Niña phenomenon in June.
PAGASA said earlier that the country is now experiencing a “weak El Nino and that it may end in June.
La Niña on the other hand, may be experienced during June-July-August season.
