Oil prices rise again

by Carl Santos

OIL prices moved up on Tuesday.

Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil Philippines, and Cleanfuel raised diesel and gasoline prices by P1.30 and 0.95 per liter, respectively.

For kerosene, Pilipinas Shell and Seaoil Philippines increased the price by P1.25 per liter.

Cleanfuel does not offer kerosene.

Rodela Romero, assistant director of the Department of Energy’s Oil Industry Management Bureau, previously said that one factor contributing to the increase in fuel prices is the weekly decline in American stockpiles brought on by rising demand.

As of October 10, the DOE said the year-to-date net increase was P12.25 per liter for gasoline, P11.35 per liter for diesel, and P5.94 per liter for kerosene.
