Manila imposes liquor ban for BSKE, Undas

by Carl Santos

THE City of Manila will implement a liquor ban from October 29 to November 2 to ensure the orderly conduct of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections and the peaceful observance of Undas season.

Mayor Honey Lacuna made this directive through Executive Order 34 signed on Thursday.

Lacuna ordered the Manila Police District and all law enforcement officers ”to strictly implement” the EO.

The BSKE will be held on October 30, while All Saints Day and All Souls Day will be observed on November 1 and 2, respectively.
