POLICE arrested a man on Friday for allegedly dropping a bomb joke inside Quiapo Church amid preparations for the Feast of the Black Nazarene. 

Suspect Dennis Garcia, 42, allegedly made the joke at around 5:30 a.m., according to the Manila Police District. 

Michael Tamayo, a witness, identified Garcia, who was immediately taken into police custody.

Garcia will be charged with violating Presidential Decree 1727, which carries a penalty of fine and imprisonment.
