A LOW PRESSURE AREA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, PAGASA said on Thursday morning.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said the LPA was located 395 kilometers west southwest of Puerto Princesa City at 3 a.m.
Flash floods or landslides may occur due to the rain brought by the LPA.
Cloudy skies with light rains will prevail in Batanes and Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands, because of the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions are forecast for the rest of the country.
