A LOW PRESSURE AREA has been spotted off Eastern Samar.
In a bulletin, PAGASA said the LPA was seen 750 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, at 3 a.m.
Outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, Typhoon Bolaven moves north-northwestward, carrying maximum sustained winds of 155 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 190 km/h.
The LPA’s trough affects Metro Manila, Visayas, Mindanao, the Bicol Region, Mimaropa, and Calabarzon. These areas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail throughout the rest of the country.
