Classes in several areas in Metro Manila and key provinces are suspended today due to the expected heavy rains brought about by the habagat.
In Metro Manila Las Piñas City suspended classes in all levels but were advised to shift to modular or online classes. However, in Muntinlupa City, all levels are suspended but only for public schools.
In the provinces, key areas in Batangas, Cavite and Laguna had suspended classes as well.
In Laurel, all levels of public and private classes were suspended.
But in Cavite those that suspended were in Mendez-Nuñez – all levels, public and private; Alfonso – all levels, public and private; General Trias – all levels, public and private /shift to modular or online class; General Emilio Aguinaldo (Bailen) – all levels; Kawit – all levels public and private; Naic – all levels, public and private /shift to modular or online class; and Tanza – all levels, public and private /shift to modular or online class.
In Laguna, the area Biñan suspended classes in all levels, public and private.
