DUE to the continued effects of the southwest monsoon enhanced by the recent weather disturbances, classes in several areas were again suspended on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
In the Ilocos Region, among those that suspended classes include: Ilocos Sur – all levels, public and private; Pangasinan – all levels, public and private; Dagupan City – all levels, public and private.
In Central Luzon, Tarlac City suspended all levels, public and private
For Western Visayas, the Antique LGU suspended Hamtic for preschool to senior high school, public and private; San Jose de Buenavista – no face-to-face classes for preschool to senior high school, public and private; shift to modular learning and Iloilo City – no face-to-face classes for preschool to senior high school, public and private; shift to modular learning
In the Negros Island Region the Negros Occidental had suspended: Binalbagan – all levels, public and private; E.B. Magalona – no face-to-face classes for all levels, public and private; shift to modular learning; Himamaylan – all levels, public and private; Isabela – all levels, public and private; La Carlota – all levels, public and private; Murcia – no face-to-face classes for all levels, public and private; shift to modular learning; Silay City – all levels, public and private
