AS Caring battered the country with heavy rains and winds, several classes across the Philippines had been suspended due to sudden power outages, extreme weather conditions.
In Antique those who suspended classes include: Hamtic – Pre-school to Senior High School (Public and Private); Patnongon – Face-to-face classes, shift to modular distance learning or any alternative delivery mode; San Jose – Pre-school to Senior High School face-to-face classes and implementation of modular distance learning, online distance learning or blended learning, where feasible (Public and Private) and Valderrama – all levels (Public and Private)
Meanwhile Baras in Catanduanes suspended level both public and private.
Iloilo City suspended Pre-school to Senior High School (Public and Private)
In Negros Occidental, Bago City – all levels; Binalbagan – all levels (Public and Private); Calatrava – all levels (Public and Private); Cauayan – all levels (Public and Private); Himamaylan – all levels (Public and Private); Hinigaran – all levels (Public and Private); Hinoba-an – all levels (Public and Private); Isabela – all levels; Kabankalan – all levels (Public and Private); La Castellana – all levels (Public and Private); and Sipalay – all levels (Public and Private).
The entire Negros Oriental province had declared no lasses in all levels both for public and private.
As Occidental Mindoro on the other hand had Rizal suspending classes in all level both public and private.
Palawan on the other hand saw Aborlan – Classes up to K-12 levels (Public and Private); Brooke’s Point – all levels (Public and Private); Busuanga – all levels (Public and Private); Coron – all levels (Public and Private); Culion – all levels (Public and Private); Narra – Classes up to K-12 levels (Public and Private); Quezon – all levels, including faculty and staff; Rizal – all levels (Public and Private); San Vicente – Kindergarten to Grade 12 (Public and Private); Sofronio Española – Kindergarten to Grade 12 (Public and Private); Zamboanga del Norte; and Polanco – Daycare to Grade 12 (Public and Private)
