AS instructed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., to make announcements early several provinces and local government units announced suspension of classes on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 due to the Typhoon Enteng enhancing the southwest monsoon.

Among the areas that declared suspensions include: Cavite province – all levels, public and private; Laguna province – all levels, public and private; Rizal province – all levels, public and private; Antipolo City – all levels, public and private; Marikina City – all levels, public and private; and Calasiao, Pangasinan – all levels, public and private.
