Surprise candidates in initial senate results

THE initial results for the senatorial race was up last night, with Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go leading the pack with 24,105,805.

He was followed by a surprise candidate in farmer Sen. Bam Aquino with 19,190,010. At third is Sen. Bato Dela Rosa with 18,432,639.

Coming in at fourth is Rep. Erwin Tulfo with 15,389,693, followed by Kiko Pangilinan with 14,017,321.

In sixth is former Sen. Ping Lacson with 13,719,661, followed by Rep. Rodante Marcoleta with 13,694,787. For the eight spot is former Senate President Tito Sotto III with 13,496,911, follow by Pia Cayetano with 13,181,344.

At tenth place is Çamille Villar with 12,152,481, followed by Sen. Imee Marcos with 

11,966,694. Rounding up the magic 12 is Lito Lapid with 11,893,896

From 13th for 15th is Ben Tulfo, Bong Revilla Jr., and Abby Binay.

This represents 70.87% of the total election returns processed, or 51,652,542 out of 69,773,653 registered voters.
