AT least six areas are now under Storm Signal No. 1 as Tropical Depression Ramil moves closer to Eastern Luzon.
According to PAGASA, it is expected to make landfall during the morning of Sunday, October 19.
The latest Tropical Cyclone Bulletin stated that the center of Ramil was estimated at 1,145 km. east of Southeastern Luzon (14.4°N, 132.3°E).
Meanwhile, the Storm Signals were raised in: The easternmost portion of Quezon (Tagkawayan); Camarines Norte; Catanduanes; Camarines Sur; Albay; and The northern and eastern portions of Sorsogon (Donsol, Pilar, Castilla, City of Sorsogon, Gubat, Prieto Diaz, Casiguran, Barcelona, Bulusan)
Ramil is packing maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h.
It is moving “west northwest slowly”
