THE self-proclaimed “son of God” had been using the name of the Lord in vain, as based on testimonies by his victims, the Philippine National Police said.
According to the PNP, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder had been tellings his teenage sexual abuse victims that they will remain “pure” and “intact” as they actually had sex with “the spirit of God.”
“I don’t know how to say it here — that allegedly after Pastor Quiboloy ‘used’ the children, he would tell them that they are still pure, that their womanhood is still intact because they had sex with the spirit of God,” PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo Fajardo said.
Fajardo said that those came from the testimonies of another batch of purported victims.
Some of the victims are as young as 12 and 13 years old.
They were apparently bound by a code of secrecy.
Quiboloy has been saying that the victims that an “angel of death” will get them if they break this vow.
“The children were afraid because they were threatened that an ‘angel of death’ will go after them should they break the code of secrecy,” Fajardo said.
Several of the said victims approached the police during their operation at the KOJC compound in Davao City, to arrest Quiboloy, according to Fajardo.
Minors are said to experience sexual abuse at the hands of Quiboloy, according to the PNP.
