VARIOUS Local Government Units had issued advisories or a set of rules for Filipinos visiting the remains of their dearly department in observance of this year’s All Saints’ and Souls’ Days.
The Parañaque City LGU said that the Manila Memorial Park will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 29 and from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 3. During Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 it will be open for 24 hours.
While the Loyola Memorial Park will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Oct. 29 to 30 and Nov. 3.
The same rule applies where it will be open 24 hours Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 and on Nov 2, it will be open until 10 p.m.
The Himlayang Palanyag will allow visitors starting at 7 a.m. from Oct. 29 to 31 and Nov. 3.
It will then allow visitors starting at 7 a.m. from Oct. 29 to 31 and Nov. 3, and will be open for 24 hours from Nov 1 to 2.

On the other hand the Parañaque Catholic Cemetery will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Oct. 29 to 30 and Nov. 2 and 3 but will be open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1.
The Parañaque City LGU they have the right to refuse drunk visitors.
Likewise the visitors are banned from cooking, smoking, and bringing of lighter and gasoline inside the cemeteries, but matches are allowed to light candles.
They likewise prohibit: Bringing of liquors; Bringing of sound systems, musical instruments, speakers or anything that creates loud sounds; Bringing of Illegal drugs and sharp objects like knives and scissors; Improper disposal of trash; Vehicles will not be allowed to enter the cemeteries. Motorists may coordinate with the authorities for proper parking.

In San Juan City, Mayor Francis Zamora said cemeteries in the city are open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Like in Paranaque, Zamora said among these are also prohibited: Vendors with no special mayor’s permit; Throwing trash on tombs; Installing electric power without permission from the engineering department.

They will also implement a rerouting scheme along Boni Serrano Avenue from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3.
The Pasay City LGU on the other hand said that the Pasay City Cemetery will be open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Oct. 29 until Nov. 2.
The local government said the Pasay City Cemetery office is open from Nov. 1 to 2.
Malacañang has declared All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls’ Day on Nov. 2 as special non-working days
Malacañang also announced half day classes and government work on October 31, 2024, to allow employees to travel to and from the provinces to observe Undas.
