The work and class suspension are in Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Zambales and Bataan.
It starts at 1 p.m.
According to Memorandum Circular No. 88 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the order came from the Office of the President.

However agencies or work associated with bringing about service such as health, disaster response and other vital areas will continue.
Work suspension in private institutions will be up to their respective management.
