NDRRMC: 382K individuals affected by Kristine; 1 injured, 3 missing

THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said that some 382,302 individuals or 77,910 families from 436 villages across the country were affected by Tropical Storm Kristine

Likewise the latest situation report of the NDRRMC said that they are validating reports of 1 injured and three missing in Bicol.

Some 313 families of 1,253 persons are inside 22 evacuation centers in Regions 5, 7 and 12.

A total of 57 houses were damaged – 49 partially and 8 totally.

Some P199,605.50 in assistance were provided. The Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Office of Civil Defense have standby funds of up to P3, 088,742,324.91. 

Meanwhile, 88 areas were reported flooded in Mimaropa, Regions 5, 6, 8 and 9 with 4 having subsided.

On the other hand, 34 seaports were non operational in Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Region 5, 7 and 9.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced that they had suspended the number coding today, October 23 after Malanacang suspended work in government offices and classes in Luzon.
