NDRRMC: 125 reported dead due to Kristine and Leon

THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said that as of Tuesday morning, some 125 individuals had been reported dead due to Severe Tropical Storms Kristine and Leon.

The latest situation report said tha the said number is still subject for verification. So far 14 cases had been verified.

Meanwhile, 115 individuals are reported as injured, while 28 more were reported missing.

Kristine and Leon both had affected a total of 7.13 million people or 1.79 million families from 10,181 villages nationwide.

On the other hand, the number of damaged houses rose to 78,286 while 5,491 were destroyed.

The estimated damage to agriculture is at P2.8 billion and to infrastructure worth P1.5 billion.
