MMDA reports several MM areas flooded due to sudden strong rain

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), reported several areas in the National Capital Region to have had incidents of flooding due to the sudden strong downpour Friday afternoon.

According to the MMDA Flood Monitoring Report, as of 4:13 p.m.. among the areas with reported flooding include Mandaluyong City along EDSA Ortigas Svc.; EDSA Highway 54 Mall; and EDSA Shaw tunnel.

In Quezon City, there were reported floodings along EDSA Main Ave.; EDSA White Plains; EDSA After Quezon Ave. Flyover; Araneta E.Rodriguez; Commonwealth Ever Gotesco; Quezon Ave. Biak na Bato; A. Bonifacio Avenue fronting St. Joseph Parish Church.

In Makati City, the MMDA reported along the EDSA Guadalupe Bridge.

For Taguig City, it was recorded along C5 Kalayaan Svc. Rd.

The MMDA said that the reports were from their live CCTV traffic feed.
