The Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) announced various power interruptions in several areas in Metro Manila, Pampanga, Cavite, Rizal, and Bulacan starting today to OCtober 20.
This is due to the scheduled maintenance activities.
For October 15, those suspended include Candaba, Pampanga, as installation of facilities will be done in Sitio 4, Bgy. Bahay Pare.
Affected areas include between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: portion of Sitio 4 Road from near Mariano Compound to and including Sitio 6 and 4 in Dulong Ilog.
For October 16, it will include Potrero in Malabon, as there will be an upgrading, installation and replacement of facilities along University Avenue.
Affected areas include between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.: Portion of University Ave. from near MacArthur Highway to Gov. Pascual Ave.; Portion of F. Rivera St. from near Del Monte Road to Atis St.; Portion of Banana Road from near Del Monte Road to Atis St.; Portion of Doña Juana Rodriguez St. from Atis St. to near Industrial Ave.; Portion of Guyabano St. from Doña Juana Rodriguez St. to near Macopa St.
For October 17, it will be in BAritan and Muzon, Malabon as a replacement of pole, relocation of facilities and line reconstruction works along Talabahan and Karilagan Streets will be undertaken.
Affected areas include: Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.: Portion of Ilang – Ilang St. from Gen. Luna St. to and including Talabahan, Doña Ata, A. Cruz, Ilang – Ilang III and Talabahan Ext. Sts. in Bgy. Baritan; Portion of Karilagan St. from Talabahan St. to Kagitingan St. in Bgy. Muzon; Portion of Kagitingan St. from Karilagan St. to Damzon St. in Bgy. Muzon; Portion of Kaunlaran St. from near Kasarinlan St. to and including Katarungan St. in Bgy. Muzon.
On the same date Dasmarinas, Cavite also includes Dasmarinas, Cavite as there will be a replacement of poles, line reconductoring works and upgrading of facilities along Via Verde Road in Bgy. San Agustin II.
It will run from 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and affect Summerwind Village, Southcrest Village and Via Verde in Bgys. Burol Main and San Agustin I & II.
For Novaliche, Quezon City, the installation of facilities, and line reconstruction and reconductoring works will be done in Tawid Sapa 2 Subd. Phase 1, Bgy. Kaligayahan
From 10:15 a.m. and 3:15 pm.
Affected area include: Portion of Reyes Ave. from Banaba St. in QC Greenfields 1 Subd. to and including Villa San Agustin Subd. and Tawid Sapa 2 Subd. Phases 1, 1 Annex, 2, 3 & 4; and Tawid Sapa 1 & 2 Sts. in Bgys. Kaligayahan and San Agustin.
For October 17-18 also in Novaliches, Quezon City, a replacement and installation of poles, and line reconductoring works will be done along Katipunan Ave. in Bgy. San Bartolome.
It will run from 11 p.m. and 11:05 p.m., Thursday, and then between 4:55 a.m. and 5 a.m., Friday and will affect the portion of Katipunan Ave. from Fadeday Studio Barbershop to Katipunan Bridge including portion of Angela, California Village, Davies, East Berkeley, East Fresno, East Los Angeles, East San Jose, Ester, Riverside, Sta. Maria, West Berkeley, West Fresno, West Los Angeles, West San Francisco and West San Jose Sts. in California Village; Angela and Esther Sts.; and Magsaysay Ave. in Doña Faustina Subd.; Justice and Purity Sts. in Goodwill Homes 1; SCH (California) Subd.; Althea Retreading Corp., Eco Safe Hazmat Treatment Inc., Jeshicris Mfg. It will run from 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., Thursday, and then between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., Friday and will affect a portion of West Bank Road (Floodway) from Francisco Legaspi St. to near Sunshine St. including Pasig Bliss III Village in Bgys. Maybunga and Rosario in Pasig City.
It will also affect a portion of portion of Eusebio St. from Francisco Legaspi St. to and including Christine Royale Executive Village; Pasig Rainforest Park, Pasig City General Hospital and Rizal Technological University – Pasig Campus in Bgys. Maybunga and San Miguel in Pasig City.

On October 20, Marilao and Sta, Maria, Bulacan will experience power interruptions due to the replacement of poles and line reconductoring works in Bgy. Prenza 1 and will be done between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m affecting portion of Gavino St. from near Family Pharma in Bgy. Prenza 1, Marilao to and including Ibayong Tabon St.; Sitio Gubat, Sitio Laot, Sitio Libis and Sitio Ibayong Tabon; Buenavista Farm and Inoza Industries in Bgys. Buenavista and Parada in Santa Maria; Prime Coating & Chemical Inc. and Zamboanga Unirich Realty Corp. in Bgy. Prenza 1, Marilao.
