KINGDOM of Jesus Christ Founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has abused some 200 women and wanted to be like the Biblical figure Solomon, the Philippine National Police said on Wednesday.
During a Senate inquiry that is investigating the allegations against Quiboloy and his group’s alleged abuses, Police Colonel Hansel Marantan told the hearing that they were able to identify 68 individuals of different ages that were alleged victims of Quiboloy’s sexual exploitation.
“His victimization continued repeatedly through the years and by generation,” he said.
“Through his preachings with the inner pastorals, per narrative of the former pastorals, Quiboloy aimed to acquire 1,000 women anchored on the biblical story of Solomon, King of Israel, who had 700 wives and 300 concubines,” he added.
Likewise, Marantan claimed that Quiboloy engaged in a “strict fellowship” with the inner pastorals.
That is aimed to “brainwash them of the purpose of illegal acts.”
They presented before the Senate hearing photos of Quiboloy’s bedroom in a bible school to which the sexual exploitation was being done.
But Quiboloy denied the accusations and even invited the accusers to file charges against him on the courts.
“Wala pong katotohanan iyong kanilang mga sinabi. Maaari po sila mag-file ng kaso. Haharapin ko po sa tamang forum, sa korte,” Quiboloy said.
“Itinatanggi ko po [ang mga akusasyon]. Wala pong katotohanan. Wala pong katotohanan. Hinahamon ko po sila na mag-file ng kaso laban sa akin o kanino man na KOJC leader or member,” he added.
