THE Bureau of Immigration said that the Russian vlogger who had harassed Filipinos during a livestream is facing a complaint for undesirability.
According to Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval, the content creator and streamer identified as Vitaly Zdorovetskiy had already gone through the proper inquest proceedings on Thursday.
“Siya po ay chinarge natin for undesirability kasi nakita natin ‘yung mga acts niya ay talaga namang lahat ng tick box ba na for undesirable alien ay chinekan na niya,” Sandoval said in a radio interview.
“More than bastos, more than magulo siya, ‘yung ginawa niya po ay actual crimes na vinideohan niya pa. Kasi pagnanakaw, pag verbal abuse, so ito pong mga actions niya ay talagang crimes,” she added.
The Russian was arrested in a hotel in Pasay City on Wednesday, when his video went viral and drew flak on social media for harassing and insulting Filipinos for content.
According to Sandoval, the vlogger’s actions tend to lean towards what she called “rage bait” to induce viewers.
“Pero ‘yun nga, tumawid siya doon sa ginawa niya. Hindi na siya basta nakakainis lang or nakaka-annoy lang. Krimen na po ‘yung ginawa niya,” Sandoval said.
Zdorovetskiy is now detained at the BI facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig.
“Nung dumating po siya the other day, smug pa siya, parang tatawa-tawa pa siya. Walang remorse. Nagpa-flying kiss pa,” she said.
“Pero ang kine-kwento po sa atin ng ating mga operatiba nung dinala na po siya sa facility, mukhang nahimasmasan itong tao na ito,” she added.
Police authorities are also looking into possible complaints against Zdorovetskiy’s Filipino companions.
Sandoval on the other hand added that they will look into other possible crimes to which Zdorovetskiy may be facing through the International Criminal Police Organization.
