THE Department of Transportation (DOTr) issued an advisory of a traffic buildup in several Metro Manila roads this weekend as the Metro Manila Subway Project’s Tunnel Boring Machine will be brought to the Camp Aguinaldo station.
In an advisory, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said traffic may start being heavy along the following roads from 10 p.m. on May 10 till 4 a.m. on May 11, and from 10 p.m. on May 11 to 4 a.m. on May 12:
Port/ R-10 (between 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.); C3 Road (between 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.); 5th Avenue (between 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.); G. Araneta Avenue (between 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.); E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue (between 1:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.); Gilmore Avenue (between 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.); Col. Bonny Serrano Avenue (between 3 a.m. to 4a.m.)
They advised motorists to use alternate routes.
The said tunnel boring machine is being used for the construction of the tunnels connecting the subway’s Camp Aguinaldo and Ortigas stations.
