WITH temperatures continue to rise, several areas in Metro Manila and the rest of the country have opted to suspend the face-to-face classes for Thursday, April 25.
Reports said that the heat index continues to rise. The said heat index is being measured through the air temperature and the relative humidity in a place at a given time.
Likewise, it is called the feels-like temperature.
Here is the list of on-site class suspensions:
Metro Manila
- City of Manila – the face-to-face classes in all levels is suspended for public and private classes until April 26
Cagayan Valley
- Cagayan
- Tuguegarao City – the face-to-face classes is suspended for preschool to senior high school (public) also until April 26
Calabarzon
- Cavite province
- Imus City –applicable for all levels (public and private)
- Tanza – classes for preschool to senior high school (public)
Central Luzon
- Angeles City – all levels (public and private)
- Pampanga
- San Fernando City – all levels (public)
