January 2, 2024 not a non-working day – Palace

MALACAÑANG said on Friday that January 2, 2024 would not be declared a non-working day.

Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil made the announcement in response to inquiries about whether January 2, Tuesday, will be designated as an extra rest day after the New Year holiday. 

January 1, 2024, Monday, is a regular holiday across the country.
