THE Department of Trade and Industry released the suggested retail prices of Noche Buena items on Tuesday.

The list includes SRPs for ham, fruit cocktail, cheese, keso de bola, mayonnaise, elbow macaroni, tomato sauce, salad macaroni, all-purpose cream, sandwich spread, pasta/spaghetti, and spaghetti sauce. 

DTI Consumer Protection Group Assistant Secretary Amanda Nograles said the prices of more than 100 items have increased.

The DTI also issued the following consumer tips:

• exercise comparison shopping and consider all your options
• always check the labels, like the expiration date and price tag, of the products before purchasing
• inspect the quality of the products to avoid counterfeit Noche Buena items. Buy only from trusted stores
• watch out for the many discounts, promo deals, and giveaways
