A DOG was spotted running along the rails in front of a moving train of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) over the weekend.
The video was taken by TikTok user @sharmainfacto.

It showed how the dog was jogging along the tracks in front of the LRT1 train which purposely slowed down to give the dog a chance to move.

According to the management of the Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC), the dog was safely rescued.
It is temporarily kept at the Central Station of the rail line on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
“Based on the latest update today (June 2), a netizen reached out to us and expressed interest to adopt. The LRMC team is already coordinating with said netizen for needed procedure po,” the LRMC said in a comment on Facto’s video.

Meanwhile, netizens praised the train driver for considering the safety of the dog.
Others who were on board the train said they do not mind the slow pace of the train for the dog’s safety.
