A CRIMINOLOGY student died due to suspected hazing by members of the Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Ahldryn Bravante, a 25-year-old student of the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR).

The QCPD said Bravante underwent initiation rites at an abandoned building located along Calamba Street in Barangay Sto Domingo, Quezon City, on Monday afternoon.

Two other suspects surrendered to the authorities, namely, Lexer Angelo Manarpies and Mark Leo Andales.

The suspects could face charges for violating the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018.
