METEOR GARDEN Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu dies at the age of 48 after contracting Pneumonia during the Lunar New Year holiday. 

This death was confirmed by her sister on Monday through her agent—confirming that the actress was travelling in Japan when she caught the flu; triggering pneumonia.

HSU first gained popularity in 2001 in Hong Kong for her starring role in the TV drama series Meteor Garden.
