STATE weather forecasters said that four areas in Luzon will be experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.

According to PAGASA, Laguna, Quezon, Bulacan, and Rizal are now experiencing heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.

Their thunderstorm advisory issued at 9:05 a.m., said that Gabaldon and General Tinio in Nueva Ecija and Rosario in Batangas are experiencing heavy rains.

This is expected to persist and may affect nearby areas.

Meanwhile, affected residents are being asked to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.
