“Starting May 2, the MMDA will be able to provide services earlier. From 7:00 in the morning, the MMDA Head Office located at Julia Vargas Avenue corner Molave Street, Barangay Ugong, Pasig City is open to the public,” the MMDA said.

The MMDA also said that some staff maye be allowed until 5:00 p.m., to complete public transactions for continuous public service.

Likewise the MMDA said that the work schedule in NCR local government units (LGUs) is based on Resolution No. 24-08, s. 2024, which was approved by the Metro Manila Council (MMC) last month.

Under the said MMDA resolution the working hours for LGUs will turn from the traditional schedule of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The MMDA said that they are aiming to help ease traffic congestion in the NCR.
