After the postcard-perfect wedding of celebrity couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde, the newlyweds don’t seem to have stopped giving the kilig feels yet with their cinematic prenup video that looked straight out of a roadtripper’s dream.
On Instagram, the E.A.T. host shared their pre-wedding film that was shot entirely in the US on Saturday, July 29—a day after their wedding. Captioned “just us being us,” the 8-minute, 26-second video features the couple on a long road trip in paradise.
Created by Bob Nicolas, the video showed Maine and Arjo in their heart-melting, sweet candid moments as they headed to different destinations, where they did things like play arcade games, eat out, and go on adventures such as skydiving. The concept of the video featured the two of them starting and ending their journey on the road.
Maine and Arjo’s wedding took place at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City. Their union was witnessed by over 400 guests from in and out of showbiz, including the trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, Allan K, Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, Maja Salvador, Ryzza Mae Dizon, and the rest of the Dabarkads.
Also in attendance were Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Zanjoe Marudo, Ciara Sotto, and Sheena Halili, among many others.
The bride wore three different sets of dresses for the wedding proper, the reception, and the afterparty.
It was in 2018 when the now-married couple first met each other via the set of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
The couple got engaged in July 2022.
