Lea, Sarah out! Bamboo remains ‘The Voice’ coach

IT’S confirmed!

The Voice Kids Philippines, the reality singing competition for kids is back on Television with a new set of coaches. They are KZ Tandingan, Martin Nievera and Bamboo Mañalac as among the original judges.

ABS-CBN confirmed it with its recent trailer teasing the audience about what programs and series to expect next year.

Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo, Broadway Star Lea Salonga were the original coaches together with Bamboo.

Some fans expressed their dismay as the upcoming season of the iconic singing contest has a new panel of judges.

Some welcomed the new judges but still can’t help but share their sadness that the judges they got used to watching are no longer going to be seen on the reality singing competition.

Others, though, just made fun of the news.


There are also those who still can’t accept the reports that their idols Lea and Sarah will no longer be the coaches.

They surely will miss them if it’s really the case.


The Voice Philippines first aired in June 2013, as a replacement for Pilipinas Got Talent.

The first episode was a huge hit as it held the top spot with a rating of 27.7 percent on AGB Nielsen and 30.5 percent on Kantar Media.

The succeeding seasons were also a big hit and changed the lives of their winners.

Some of the contestants whose dreams came true after competing in the show were Lyca Garanoid, Darren Espanto, JK Labajo, Kyle Echarri and Elha Nympha.
