by Joanna Deala

ZACK Tabudlo, the Gen Z Filipino singer-songwriter behind the hit song “Give Me Your Forever, will return to the local music scene with a new song titled “Isa Dalawa Tatlo.”

The 22-year-old artist shared this on Monday, saying he will drop the single on Friday, August 16.

Tabudlo’s social media post included a monochrome photo of him smiling, with his eyes covered by a woman’s hands.

He used the same photo to change his profile picture on his social media pages.

“Here’s one of the songs I’ve been working on for the past few months,” said Tabudlo.

“I hope you guys like it, it’s a special one from my heart,” he added.

Meanwhile, several fans commented on his social media post, expressing their excitement for his new song.

“Isa dalawa tatlo iiyak na naman ba ako sa kantang ’to?” a netizen asked.

“Hakdog ka Zack nambubulaga ka naman,” another fan said.

A Facebook user jested, “Sanaol kinikilig ‘pag tinatakpan yung mata, ako kasi naiinis.”

“Isa Dalawa Tatlo” will be Tabudlo’s fourth release this 2024, following “Feel This Way” and “PAPALAYO” in May and “Pulso” in January.

“Feel This Way” and “Pulso” are odes to his girlfriend Abby, while “PAPALAYO” expresses the feeling of wanting to run away from individuals who give false hopes.

Zack’s popularity

Embarking on his solo music journey in 2018, Tabudlo quickly gained popularity for his modern love songs and heartbreak anthems that resonated with young listeners locally and internationally.

Among those who got hooked on his music were K-pop idols Heeseung of boy group ENHYPEN and Jung Kook of K-pop powerhouse BTS. Heeseung blew his fans away with his short cover of “Give Me Your Forever,” while Jung Kook played the same song during one of his livestreams on the social media platform Weverse.

Last month, Tabudlo performed “Give Me Your Forever” at the 2024 ROUND Festival in Busan, South Korea. He and Josh Cullen of P-pop powerhouse SB19 were the only Filipino performers in the event that featured multiple international artists.

Tabudlo’s other hit songs are “Pano,” “Gusto,” and “Binibini,” which garnered over a hundred million streams each on music streaming platform Spotify.
