Ylona Garcia collabs with Valkyrae, Fuslie for new song ‘Echoes’

by Joanna Deala

FILIPINA-AUSTRALIAN singer Ylona Garcia has a new song and it’s in collaboration with game streamers Valkyrae, who is also half-Filipino, and Fuslie.

On Friday, lifestyle and gaming organization 100 Thieves dropped the music video on YouTube featuring the trio, clad in all black outfit, surrounded by flashing neon lights as they depict the feeling of being overwhelmed by their inner battles.

A part of the song’s first verse, which Ylona sang, goes, “Drownin’ in emotions; Stuck in illusions, play with me, on my mind; Delusions, one-by-one, they hypnotize me; Then the night goes on, the night goes on.”

As of writing, the music video has garnered over 168,000 views.

The 21-year-old singer also shared the final album cover featuring her, Valkyrae, and Fuslie, along with their signatures and the term “Echoes” written above them.

Before this, Ylona sought opinions of netizens for their album cover as she posted a carousel of their behind-the-scenes photos taken during the filming of their music video.

“Echoes” is Ylona’s first song in over a year, following the release of “Vibin” in May 2022.
