WOODZ’s short clips, including his recent dance covers of “Soda Pop” from the hit animated musical fantasy film “KPop Demon Hunters” and “1999” by NCT’s Mark Lee, as well as his music videos and vlogs, were uploaded on the “Media” channel.
The platform also features WOODZ’s “Live” channel, where he is scheduled to host a livestream at 8 p.m. (KST) on Tuesday, July 22, to celebrate his return from the military.
WOODZ completed his 18-month mandatory service on Monday, July 21. Reports said he held his discharge ceremony at the Korea Military Academy in Seoul, after serving as an active-duty soldier and a member of the military band.
Shortly after, he shared photos of himself holding a bouquet on his social media accounts. Another set of his photos showed him holding a cake and a stuffed toy.
Music comeback?
WOODZ seemed to have prepared not only for his return to the outside world but also to the music industry.
On Monday, the singer dropped a 13-second teaser, titled “Out of Time Artifacts,” prompting fan frenzy for his long-awaited new music.
The clip resembles a first-person video game, with the player breaking a wall with a sledgehammer and finding WOODZ’s logo.

Several fans were anticipating a rock song, as the teaser featured powerful and energetic sounds from a heavy electric guitar and drums.
Nothing much has been revealed yet about the teaser, but MOODZ is excited for his first music comeback since his single album “AMNESIA” in 2023.
“He said no time to breathe when he comes back and he did not lie,” one fan said on X (formerly Twitter).
“He’s been out for 24 [hours] and he’s already dropping stuff,” another netizen commented.
About WOODZ
WOODZ officially entered the music scene in 2014, debuting as a rapper of the South Korean-Chinese boy band UNIQ. However, the group has been inactive for years, with the five members pursuing their individual projects since 2018.
WOODZ, for instance, joined the hit survival reality show “Produce X 101” in 2019, finishing as a member of the winning group X1. But the 11-piece boy group later disbanded following a vote-rigging controversy.
WOODZ continued his career as a solo artist, releasing his first extended play (EP), “EQUAL,” in June 2020.
Fun fact: the singer also studied in an international school in the Philippines when he was young, before returning to South Korea.
He last visited Manila in 2023 for his “OO-LI” tour.
