WayV is a Chinese pop group and an official sub-unit of KPop group NCT managed by Label V, the China-based entertainment agency of SM Entertainment. They debuted in 2019 with members Kun, Ten, Winwin, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang with the song “Love Talk” which includes Chinese and English versions of the song.

WayV’s first visit to the Philippines was in October 2022 for a joint concert called “I-POP U in Manila” held in Smart Araneta Coliseum along with NCT Dream, Xdinary Heroes, Golden Child, and Alice. Unfortunately, the organizer DNM Entertainment confirmed that members Ten and Winwin wouldn’t be able to participate in the said event due to health reasons.

Their next visit was in March 2023 for a fan-con (fan meet and concert) called “WayV: Phantom in Manila” held in Smart Araneta Coliseum. SM Entertainment announced regrettably that Winwin wouldn’t also participate in the fan con due to a schedule conflict.

Before the fan-con, the group visited Intramuros, Manila, and had a tour around Fort Santiago.
